we currently share a single Halo scanner between a lot of vets.
the Halo scanner seems average reliability at best.
The technology should be very basic and cheap.
can anyone point me to a cheap

RE: Which microchip scanner is best value?

Amazon

RE: Which microchip scanner is best value?

we are looking to change microchip supplier as they no longer offer a transfer pin so that can no longer register to one owner/breeder/charity to be then passed on to the new owner the week after... I'm just after paying £40 for some kittens that I'd registered their details to a charity to be re-registered to new owners a week after - I could have bought a new scanner for that LOL. Good suggestion that can ask for new scanner from whoever we settle on as new microchip supplier - just not sure who that will be yet and if they supply free scanners - if they do then they will probably be over-charging for their chips I'm guessing though.

RE: Which microchip scanner is best value?

Have you tapped up your microchip supplier?
