SANDS is a charity that supports parents with very early loss.https://www.sands.org.uk/. Cruse is a charity that supports people suffering loss and grief more generally but I know they will have people experienced in talking to parents who have lost children at all ages.https://www.cruse.org.uk/

Amanda Henry Not quite, but I did go through eighteen years of thinking my child was dying at least once a year. A sort of repeat bereavement, though she has so far always pulled back from the brink.

Anyway, I went to a talk last year given by a sort of neighbour of mine. She's a psychotherapist who specialises in this area.

I must say, I found her talk very impressive. I also think she comes across as a wonderfully kind, empathetic and good humoured person. Certainly, she is the first person I would pick up the phone to in this situation.
