I’ve seen this a couple of times, a policy that’s as much use as a chocolate fire-guard.
Makes me wonder if travel- or car-insurance policies are allowed to pull these type of stunts: “Good news! You’re covered for £1million, so you can have up to 1000 accidents per year”!

Depending on the size of the dog (if over 10kg) most orthopods will argue that one of the ostectomy techniques is better. I dont know to be honest but I think the RCVS is trying to collect some evidence on this.

Not seen that before. I have seen it where it was £3000 a year but 6 different conditions up to £500 each or similar. Which the owner did not realise until it was too late.

I was surprised that such a well known company should stoop to such a near useless policy. It really is as clear as mud as it is labelled 'Premier'.

I am still unclear why the policy states £4000 per condition but in four £1000 stages???

I think you are better off putting the premium payment amounts in an offset mortgage account than getting a poor policy like this.

Do a lateral suture? The evidence doesn't show outcome to be that different and lots of change when the other one goes.....
