that sounds terrifying! Not had that yet..

However my alarm clock on my phone has randomly started telling me the time in a seductive voice, as well as sounding the alarm...

It was weird and without warning. Apparently supposed to be a trial in Suffolk and later Reading (not sure if this is from an old news item). We are in neither area.

Apparently it does not go to specific numbers but is sent out to every mobile in a particular mast area. Our phone is on Lebara because it is cheap (phone not used for anything else) and uses Vodafone. Perhaps we are the only ones on Lebara in the area!

I put antivirus software on the phone which picked up nothing strange.

It was full volume!!

personally I have disagreed because I would want/ need! to get the cat indoors , make a packed lunch and make sure that I had a "Go-bag ready for who knows what?!! The first of these is most important! I would never forgive myself for ignoring the cat "Wiggo" and/or leaving him behind. Plus put my crash helmet on, OF COURSE!! Why not? Do you think I'm daft or something?! Don't answer that!!

Oh my god. How weird. Hasn't happened to anyone I know yet. But I'm with you. If something bad's about to happen, I think I'd rather not know.
