&lt;p&gt;In the cases where this has happened with us we don&amp;#39;t charge another written prescription fee and just alter it to the product/size available. Often we ask for an order number first and send it direct to the online pharmacy ourselves as we&amp;#39;ve had some issues with people forging repeats.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have had a few cases where clients have had a prescription accepted by an phamacy to then turn round and say that they can&amp;#39;t get it. This leads to the question &amp;#39;what are people doing about the prescription fee?&amp;#39; In my case I&amp;#39;m calling them and saying it&amp;#39;s their choice, do they want to pay the fee and risk it, therefore avoiding potential issues of complaint, or do we have any responsibility at all, just write it, after all that&amp;#39;s what the client has chosen to do?&lt;/p&gt;
