Here we go. I've created the new blog just to see how well the idea goes down and sound everyone out.

For those that didn't see the other thread, the idea is that as regularly as possible, I will start the morning by posting something I've seen online which has made me laugh, or which I think might make you laugh (usually the same thing).

The thinking behind this is very simple: I find it really helps get the day off to a good start if it starts with a laugh. If I can share something with you that gets your day off to a good start, then that's a result!

Any feedback welcome. I'll post for a few days / weeks to see how it goes. If it goes well, I'll launch it officially and invite everyone to subscribe. And also ask you all to share anything you think should go in the blog.

UM - I was thinking of perhaps something a little more contemporary than 1932!!!

Still, that's given me another idea.

I am planning on the daily, er, amusement, being in the form of a blog post, like the newsfeed, which I'll encourage everyone to subscribe to separately. But this thread would be a great place to invite suggestions from any of you to share funny things you've seen online, and I'll use the best in the newsfeed.

Also, I was thinking about what I should call the new blog. First I was thinking about trying to tie it in with animals in some way. Laughing Hyena or something. But cliched.

But I think it's staring me in the face.

Perhaps I should just call it Arlo's Morning Chuckle

It's sort of got a ring to it!
