That is definitely true Lindsey. I had a 2 am phone call last week about a pup that had vomited once. And bee or wasp stings generally will hurt (as they do with us) but also generally won’t cause a big problem (again similar to us).

I’d also strongly agree with points up thread about skin disease and ears, it is not a simple cure, at best we can hope to control many of them.

One single vomit is not an out of hours emergency but likewise persistent or non productive attempts do need to be seen, preferably before the animal collapses!

That ear infections are painful, potentially serious, often multifactorial and can take time and money to treat - and no, we can't just sell a bottle of ear drops over the counter

That it's not generally a good idea to predict absolute puppy numbers on the strength of an ultrasound scan.
