Actually very much the edge of lakes David, we go to Great Strickland each year which is south of Penrith, but has the advantage of being quick to get to from North Yorkshire, and easy access to the lakes for walking once we are there. In addition it’s a lovely big house. Saturday is usually a big walk finishing at a pub, then a meal out in the evening. I’m missing it.

I don't mind stuff that's negative about the substance of what I've said. But 'god you're annoying' is just pointless, so I delete remarks like that, on the same basis that I wouldn't let someone come and shit on my front lawn! Unless I'm having a good day, when I might have the time and inclination to try and think of a suitably good James Blunt type riposte.

Maybe not what you want to hear, but this is actually a good thing.

I don't trust reviews without negative comments. As long as the majority are positive, a bad review is proof you're not fake.

Well, I’ve certainly had better days!!! Yes, so many missed celebrations, including the one I used to have every Friday night in the pub to celebrate the end of another week! abut at least the vaccine noises seem to be sounding more and more positive now.

Sorry Arlo, that sounds like a really rough day. I was tempted to say a s***t day but that might be a step too far. I’ve been off today so I’ve had a fairly good day, despite the fact I should be in the Lake District with a big group of friends drinking wine and laughing a lot. So many missed celebrations this year.
