There was a franked mailing label stuck on. How it came off I cannot imagine.

To be fair to the Post Office, there was nothing on the envelope by the time it arrived with me apart from their sticker with incomprehensible Welsh and luckily an English translation - I guess the stamps came off.....

Still I don't begrudge paying a couple of quid - couple of interesting papers I thought!

I beg your pardon but the sender most definitely did pay the full postage.

If you think it's worth it you might ask the Post Office what was wrong with the postage.

Ah- maybe that's what my 'fee to pay' notice is for as well.....
