For some reason i cannot edit any of my posts. Not good as I almost always have to tweak a spelling or bit of grammar!

Ahh got it! I was blind to those as all website pages have FB icon which just takes you to vendor's page. Might be worth putting a text label on left of buttons - 'share thread' or something?

What device are you using Robert FalconerTaylor - You should see them to the right of the thread title at the top of the thread. A blue button marked 'facebook' and a grey one marked 'email'. I can see it on ipad, safari, chrome and firefox, on a mac

Further tweak in Expert Forums is that I've changed the link under forum posts to 'Thank Expert' (from 'verify answer'), because thanking is the same as verifying. I've also configured something which is supposed to send an email now to the expert saying they have been thanked. And once I know they are working OK, I'll try and change the config so that the question author is prompted to thank as well.
