You can find a list of practices on the RCVS website. You just have to decide what distance&nbsp; you&#39;re happy to travel to.&nbsp; Fortunately I&#39;m in a densely populated area with a LOT of practices within 20 miles.</p> <p>Charges depend on what you think you&#39;re worth and your area.&nbsp; I think the average for an experienced vet who is happy to be sole charge is probably about &pound;300 for a 10 hour day (plus lunch break).&nbsp;</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
