I was there a few months ago. We brought snacks to feed the dogs. They come bounding happily up to the tour buses when they stop, and nose around hopefully! They have eartags in if they have been neutered, and some have GPS and dosimeters so they can track radiation levels about the exclusion zone. The ones we saw were in good condition.

Not funny - think it would be a cool opportunity for some working tourism and makes a change from the usual neutering 'holidays' in the Mediterranean islands or India. That smiley face is a beaming smile no?

Get the opportunity to explore Chernobyl, capture and release using darting rather than hessian sacks that I've experienced in India. Tourism companies charge vast amounts to go visit and explore the site, I'd imagine doing it this way would be much cheaper. Must be a fascinating place.
