&lt;p&gt;I went down to Cornwall for the total eclipse. Unfortunately it was so cloudy you couldn&amp;#39;t see the sun at all, but under the cloud it was clear enough to appreciate the shadow roaring towards you at 12000mph followed by complete night.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although I knew it was only going to last 2 minutes it sent a shiver down my spine as my inner caveman looked around and thought &amp;#39;Oh no, the worlds come to an end and the Sun&amp;#39;s gone out&amp;#39; &lt;/p&gt;

Good few years ago now, can&amp;#39;t remember which one. I would love to see the northern lights, might have to have a trip Norway one winter.&lt;/p&gt;
