Another little tweak on mobile phones ... now removed the round icons from the page title bars, and reduced the font-size / line height of the page title, which smartens things up and reduces scrolling before you reach the forum posts.

I'm on a roll.

That glitch is regardless of device (this thread is really for specific mobile phone issues). But yes, I will see if I can get the devs to fix that one after upgrade, thanks.

When you tap the flash sign to see who have agreed/disagree/like/thank you, if more than one person has, the site comments that they all pressed the same button.

Ie. Michael disagrees with me. Then Niall agrees with me.

I press the icon and will show 'Niall and Michael agreed with...)

Glad you like it! (and feedback is very helpful at this stage)

Various other things I am looking at are:

reducing the vertical height of the navigation (normally green, but currently red) stripe across the top of the page. On mobile, every vertical pixel counts!
reviewing all elements of every page to check they are both needed and optimised for mobile.
reviewing main mobile navigation (currently all drop downs are expanded when you open it, which they shouldn't be, really).

Do you mean vertically? I see that the normal pull down tab in the bottom right corner of the box doesn't work on my phone, but the box does expand as I type more lines than can be accommodated when the box first displays.

I think further changes to that box (or 'widget' as they are known) may be above my pay grade. I'd also like to see the box wider, closer up to the edge of the screen, to make best use of the available space, but when we upgrade we are getting a different text editor, so probably not worth changing now as we'll only want to do it again when the new one arrives.

Ooh yes, that's much better! It would also be good to be able to enlarge the text entry box. I haven't worked out how to do that yet.
