I have no worries about the distance for her - she's been up many mountains, goes fell running with me and has done 25 mile+ days without issue.
Thanks. I suspect it might be a little busy for me, and maybe not remote enough, but I've got itchy feet and it's one that's easy to fit into a week's holiday. I'm really looking forward to it! My real ambition is the GR20 (without dog!) but it's going to be pretty difficult logistically to sort the time off etc., so I've shelved that one for the moment.

RE: Dog Boots...

Enjoy....I'm very jealous.
One of my dogs spent an evening while I was wild camping on Skye chasing birds/voles up and down the gabbro rocks for several hours - next day I had to carry said large wriggly jack russell most of the way from Coruisk to Sligachan, plus large rucksack, in a rare heatwave. Another skinned a couple of pads on the Cairngorms which meant a very very slow descent off the tops. I take a couple of boots now just in case - got some Trixie Walker ones off amazon.

I may only have a terrier, but there is absolutely no way I want to have to carry her, plus all my walking/camping kit for even a few hundred yards, let alone the rest of the way! I'm trying to go lightweight!

Good suggestions thanks, will check them out.
