The title? "The Dog

RE: A sequel book due in July...

[quote user="Jill Butterworth"]

I believe Christian Barnard actually did one of these and the dog survived for 4 days...

Four days? Hah! Is that all? As far as I'm aware my patient was still alive five or six years later!

That's a name from the past! I can remember quite a lot of Burnley clients but not all after this long time. I do occasionally wonder what happened to some of them. I kept in contact with a number after I left, my ex-neighbours on Lowerhouse Lane, and elderly couple on Briercliffe Road who had Sooty a very poorly cat at one time. The Calverts, owners of a nice Terrier and who lived down the road from me, plus a number of farmers who came to my wedding two years after I left Burnley. Happy Days in Burnley - Mostly!

RE: A sequel book due in July...

Looking forward to reading it Julian Earl . Do you remember Kay Nelson who took the phones OOH in Burnley? She remembers you and read your first book. She'll be interested to know that there's another book coming soon.

We certainly need "those clients" to add humour to some days at work!
