Hi Niall Taylor Sorry, but there are so many phone types / screen resolutions and so many page types on the site that I really need you to be much more specific when reporting an issue.

On my iphone 8, the new navigation thingy takes up about 1/5th of the page on the forum home page, which presents no problem at all for me.

If I then move to a thread where the page title is very long, for example: https://www.vetsurgeon.org/veterinary-clinical/small-animal/dentistry/f/163/p/27652/207808.aspx#207808, it takes up a tad more than 1/3, which I agree could/should be reduced, but is not presenting any barrier to me reading the content.

Replying to that same thread has actually revealed some small layout issues I need to fix, but the new navigation thing isn't one of them!

I'm not doubting you're having a problem, but in all cases I need to know what device/browser, and what page of the website, and what exactly you are unable to do.

As I remember, quoting an excerpt of text on mobile devices has never been possible. You can only press the quote link and quote all of a post. I hope this is something we'll be able to improve on the next upgrade.

This isn't working for me on mobile either Niall. I can select and then press quote, but it quotes the entire post rather than just the bit I've highlighted. If I then delete all this text and go back to select again for a quote I then cannot highlight.

Also I don't seem to be able to highlight text in the post I'm replying to so I can quote from it (but that might just be my dodgy virtual keyboard technique).
