Has anyone had experience with this algae and if so what were symptoms and treatments? Kind regards Derek

RE: Blue Green Algae

Interesting just last night I had a "potencial" case, of a young spring spaniel who had been drinking in a lake before owner noticed a sign warning of blue algae risk. When they called us it was 7h after the drinking, the dog was lethargic, on praying position, and on clinical examination a mild abdominal pain. We run full blood and all was normal. She went home with one injection of buprenorphine and didn't hear of her since.

It could have been something different. How quick should I expect symptoms of blue algae intoxication, would you say?

RE: Blue Green Algae
PM?
