[/quote] they approached me after I had an article for new graduates published in the vet times. I really wanted to support those who did not always have an experienced colleague at hand with the practical non clinical stuff that makes life in practice easier.

Honestly, this sort of flagrant self-promotion is unbelievable - fancy using vetsurgeon.org to promote a book. Who would have thought I'd have ever lived to see the day...
