The phrase "Veterinary Surgeon" is (and I think Veterinarian, but not UK).
One option would be for VMD to put homeopathic treatments in a separate category, where all they are doing is validating purity, not efficacy.
If one ask the question, is it acceptable to treat a disease with nothing and charge for it, then by that argument homeopathy is unethical

RE: RIP NHS Homeopathy

The rcvs have not outright banned homeopathy as yet. The reason given is that certain homeopathic ‘medicines’ are accepted by the VMD.

However, homeopathy itself is not just the medications used, but it is, in itself, a form of medicine. This form of medicine is clearly incompatible with veterinary medicine and should not be used under its banner. Thus, even though some treatments may be acceptable by the VMD, the practice of veterinary homeopathy could still be banned.

Isn’t the word veterinary protected? Then let’s protect it!

RE: RIP NHS Homeopathy

And here's another victory for common-sense in my neck of the woods:

Massage therapy, in my opinion is so limited in what is done as to be pretty useless. Physiotherapy is a completely different and far more appropriate way to spend money. Pain relief tops them all in this case.
