The Jonas bothers. Are they Yanks ? I wouldn't know - just thought as the picture shows them at Bondi Beach, they were a couple of Aussie beefcakes from one of the football codes (probably not the round ball one !).

Millenials are basically Gen Y (born 1981-1996) but probably Gen Z should be considered Millenials (or post-Millenials) also.

So here's a new competition. What do we call the current generation born this decade ? Gen Forever Renters (will never be able to buy their own house), Generation PPI (plastic pollution inheritors), or should we just go back to the start of the Alphabet : Gen A, then we have more wriggle room for subsequent generation names !

This made me think of a friend of mine's daughter's extreme reading competition at school, for which we ended up taking her out on a RIB and photographing her reading a book on this, in the middle of the Solent ...

Anyway ... wouldn't mind running a similar thing. Magnum of champagne for the best photograph of someone catching up on things on VetSurgeon.

I catch up on VetSurgeon at work mainly (end of week workdays) + check replies on phone.

I’m exhausted being retired

Every day the weather continues to be good , and believe me this is unprecedented here in the Pennines , I feel I have to be out walking the dog , watering the allotment, Riding the horse and generally being out and about enjoying it while I can . I’m knackered and so is my horse and dog. My house is a tip, my car is like a skip and I’m weather beaten to a shade of mahogany.

Its great !

PS I don't play bowls myself but I can assure you it takes great skill and unlike golf carries no baggage of exclusive socialisation, weird ugly clothing or getting pissed on gin and tonic.

Good heavens Anthony, I have a whole list of things I really want to do that I'm looking forward to eventually having time to do properly. None of them involve golf, cycling or tennis. And hanging over vetsurgeon.org does not feature either, I'm afraid.

I look whenever I check my emails and FB...so now and again during the day or evening, but especially if there's a thread I've been following. It is virtually like having a good natured discussion about cases with colleagues during a tea break, although I occasionally need my hard hat...

Sarah, I pop on in between clients! Our surgery internet is probably faster than our home internet (given that I have 3 children streaming multiple crap!)
