Apologies for a turbo posting....One band I’m vaguely considering seeing is Queen with Adam Lambert. I think they might be good but I saw Queen live 5 times in the seventies and they were some of the best gigs I’ve ever been to. Different bands, different times but logic doesn’t come into it!
went last December and Queen with Adam Lambert were brilliant . Bryan Adams was good too , and I’d love to see Bruce Springsteen.
Although I really like a lot of Bruce Springsteen’s songs, I wouldn’t have called myself an actual fan until I saw him a couple of years ago at Hampden Park, Glasgow. We enjoyed 3 hours of superb entertaintment that passed in a flash. I hope you get a chance to see him, Clare.

RE: Rolling Stones Ticket
Both bands were fantastic and did not disappoint. Good to see The Specials again back on their home turf, after 30 or so years.

Charlie Watts birthday yesterday too, 77. Amazing that they can still put on a show like that, lasting almost 2 and 1/2 hours without stopping, at their ages.

RE: Rolling Stones Ticket

I saw them at Stratford London this week. There may be no disillusionment! Don’t think I’ve heard anything adverse about their gigs. I suppose there’s always a risk seeing bands that have been around for a long time. In the last few years, I’ve been to see The Who and Black Sabbath with the expectation that they wouldn’t be up to much and they were both superb. I’ve always wanted to see Neil Young and Bob Dylan perform but I believe they might be a bit ropey these days.

RE: Rolling Stones Ticket
