&lt;p&gt;What they do rely on is the vet making the recommendation and the client following it up with a purchase either at the practice or on-line.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;IVC today with their own brand, CVS tomorrow etc, etc.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I agree up to a point, but any MRCVS has the freedom to prescribe which ever drug they wish. If a practice cannot or will not order it in, a written script can be provided. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am sceptical about many of the neutraceutical claims but owners are not! If they are going to buy them anyway then they should be guided to the ones that are better produced.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Interesting to see CVS share price has dropped. Perhaps some common sense is going to occur within the profession.&lt;/p&gt;
