I also like asparagus. Is this unusual ? I would be interested in my fellow forum members taste. Just to understand you a little better. Asparagus carries a risk or so I am led to believe.

I am Worcestershire born and bred, near Evesham, which is renowned for its Asparagus. Needs to be cooked properly, al dente, just still slightly crispy. Ideally use an asparagus pan; an upright cylinder pan where the more fibrous part of the spear stands in boiling water while the more delicate spear head is lightly steamed. Serve with a knob of butter and fresh ground black pepper. Yum.
These are not what I would classify as sausages - not as we know them Jim. They are more akin to Saucisson, Salami, Salchichón or Charcuterie. A way of preserving meat and eaten alone cold as a snack or Tapas rather than with a meal. I'll eat them but I'm not a huge fan and yes I've tried the Polish version - I have a Polish friend who takes them as emergency rations when we're skiing.

RE: Does anyone like olives ?
