I use an online accountancy agent ( www.gorillaaccounting.com) and am happy with it. Always somebody available to help me out, they do my quarterly VAT accounts, my corporation tax and my self assessment tax. I get access to FreeAgent online with them and use that for keeping track of everything. I get an answer very quick to any email enquiries and I can also ring my designated accountant for advise.

I use an old friend on mine (not met her personally for over 10 years tho...only chatted on the phone since I moved south) - Angie Ayre of Ayre and co - www.ayreandco.co.uk/ - accountants for the entertainment industry (I think I entertain...) . Fees are very good, recommended to 2 vet friends and they both use her now (or Kevin, her sidekick deals with my accounts). Mention my name and we both get £50 off our next tax bill. Phone her, she's happy to chat and give you the low down on fees.

We are happy back with Chaplin Associates. Phil helped us set the practice up.

Having been through two of the bigger accountants over the years and struggled I prefer the more individual approach.

Location doesn't matter. I'm in Yorkshire and our accountant is West Midlands based.

We use Moore Scarott and they understand vets
