Had a BBQ in the garden for a few other guests in the evening, back to work the next day. Honeymoon was a weekend camping trip to Dorset. Who said romance was dead?

our vows were interrupted by a cat gate crashing our ceremony, and deciding that was the time to walk across the alter meowing rather loudly!! It was a brave cat entering the church that day with the number of veterinary professionals in the pews!

Mine was on August Bank Holiday weekend just gone. Our wedding cake was designed so it looked like a rugby ball had landed in it and was sticking out.

We were staying in the same hotel as we had the wedding and reception that night...our friends hid a box of arm length gloves and a (half used) bottle of lube under our duvet. We were going straight to the airport the next morning so had to leave them in the room.... I often wonder what the cleaner thought....

We rode together to the village church on horseback - my border terrier was 'Best Dog' and carried the ring on his collar. Then home for a few sandwiches with a small group of F&F. Total cost c.£200, inc. the church.

Hopefully not as strange a day as my wedding day!

Did morning surgery, collected my suit, went off, got married, dropped some X-rays into the referral centre on the way back for a wedding McDonalds (at the request/demand of the kids) and back for evening surgery!

Actually was a very good day!!
