An Amazon wishlist has been set up and can be accessed. The following is from Dr Sarah Weston MRCVS

Here is the Amazon wishlist information in full: URGENT SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR STRANDED PETS AND ANIMALS IN THE BVI
Dear all,
Since the total devastation caused by Hurricane Irma in the British Virgin Islands, many animals have been stranded and are in desperate need of help. Some are animals at the now destroyed Tortola Humane Society, some are much loved pets who families evacuating had to leave behind and now need to be reunited with their humans.
Dr Sarah J Weston, a BVI vet, is leading an effort to get these animals to safe places and back to their families. But in order to do that, she needs travel crates and kits, food, medicine, and other items for them — things the island after destruction just does not have at all. That’s where you come in. An Amazon wishlist that shows what Dr. Weston needs here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/HROZVDRIYDUY?
It would be great if you could purchase an item (or a similar one) from the list and send it to one of the addresses below. From there, the angels at Three Sheets Sailing have kindly offered to take them across to Tortola by boat.
These items are needed VERY urgently, so purchasing in the next day or so would really help.
If the vendor will ship to a PO Box please use:
J&M Simpson
BVI Irma Animals
PO Box 24007
Christiansted VI 00824-0007
United States
If they need a regular address, please use:
J&M Simpson
BVI Irma Animals
24007 Gallows Bay Station
Christiansted VI 00824-0007
United States
Although Amazon will not use Prime to ship to the St. Croix, buyers in the US can call them and let them know that you are shipping to a U.S. Territory to help after Irma and we’ve been told they may kindly waive the fee. Please enter your own phone number or the post office 340-773-4538.
Please share widely and contribute if you can!
Thank you so much!
p.s if you can supply any horse or cattle feed, please contact Dr. Weston.

RE: Hurricane Irma

Thanks I'll pass that on. HSI and WVS are both now involved in helping out and I believe some help has now managed to get onto the islands. There should be a donation site up and running soon I believe once logistics have been sorted out regarding getting supplies out there.

RE: Hurricane Irma

May be worth getting in contact with the University of West Indies Vet School on Trinidad?
