I'm basing the asking on For Sale and Sold prices that are visible to the public. I'd welcome constructive input as this occupies quite a bit of space in a pretty cramped building. I'm sure the practice would be happy to accept offers. Are you interested?

Very very pricey for a second hand machine. The price of the individual components neither here no there I would have thought, it's a small marketplace out there and a lot of the companies are offering tech support and warranties upto 3-5 years at not much more, including installation and training.

Most places have grids anyway?

But I still think you'll need to get a warranty with your service.

We're getting a quote for Celtic SMR for a basic service and to strip down and recondition it. I don't know yet about warranty but that's useful information. Interestingly at that price Celtic SMR are cheaper than the other 2 I found online then which were each £7100 odd + VAT with only 2 plates and no grid! The plates alone we were quoted (to buy) £400 for a second hand and £800 each new.

I think you're asking a bit much Roland, I only paid that for mine and it was fully reconditioned with a 12 month warranty from Celtic SMR.

That said however to anyone who is thinking of it, it is a fantastic machine, essentially the image quality is as good as the replacement the CR 15, just a bit heavier and bulkier.
