Did I read somewhere that there is now a tablet that treats and prevents EVERYTHING including ticks?
Thanks in advance

Fenbendazole would be the drug of choice.

Milbemycin is not licenced for treatment of clinical lungworm infection. I use Panacur/Granofen to treat.

RE: New dog worming tablet?
A vet I've locummed for used it on his dog. It got lungworm. This was before the licence for lungworm was announced - do worms read data sheets.
No they don't, I've used Bravecto for Demodex, but you've got to be pretty confident its going to work if you're going off licence treating a potentially fatal disease! Fenbendazole is a much better option for treating rather than prevention.

RE: New dog worming tablet?

And some get lungworm despite Advocate according to a specialist at a recent CPD event. All depend on 100% compliance and none are going to be 100% effective either!

I believe we are never going to get total protection but more likely to be sensible levels of prevention.

RE: New dog worming tablet?

A vet I've locummed for used it on his dog.
