I am looking for a mobile screen for our x-ray room if anyone has one surplus to requirements or knows where I may be able to get one?
Many thanks

I suspect the stand behind mobile screens are pretty much redundant in most hospitals so I bet there are loads sitting around.

They may have some value because of the lead.

RE: Mobile Radiographic Screen Wanted

[quote user="Thomas Johnson"]

I agree with Bob. I recntly went to see a specialist who was hired by my solicitor to assess my fractured clavicle for compensation purposes and because he was not linked into the system my digital images were stored on he could not access them. However I happened to have a film of my shoulder that the private hospital had given me from a digital image which to all intents and purposes looked like a normal X-ray film (I have no idea how they produced that nor did the specialist) but (have patience we are getting to the relevant bit) he was able to view it on the light box in his room even though he hadn't used it for so long he wondered if it would still work.

There must be thousands of these around which have become redundant.

Many have warehouses full of bits and pieces that are no longer needed. Hilditch auctions may be another possible source.
