Sorry - I was just talking about the A module in my earlier reply. For the A I was a full course participan and reallu enjoyed the day - but it was supplementary to the module and not essential for any of the work assessed.

For the C modules I've gone for e participation as that's a bit cheaper (even thoug work are paying).

As Anthony said the dates were sometimes changed and I realised the days were not essential to the module ( and I had plenty of CPD and reading to keep me going!).

I was supposed to be a full course participant for the A and B modules with Liverpool, but never made it to the CPD because they used to announce it quite late, or give the dates when you sign up for the module then quietly change them

I'm not bothered I missed them, didn't change anything for me. The CPD days for the full course participants of the C modules are good though.

It's a bit like asking "which is the best vet college"? There is no one who's experienced both routes and can honestly compare. Have a look and see what you think you need and what represents best value for money. Identifying your own educational deficiencies and getting all introspective is a chunk of what the process is about.....

I've only heard positive things about the Liverpool modules.

I did the Full course and there was a day of CPD at Liverpool. From memory this was ethics and about prescribing law etc.

It was a very interesting day, additional material to the course but not at all essential to actually passing the module.
