Magnesium to be around 0.12 – 0.13%. should be OK Er, someone better check that; my maths is not the finest....

theres a Purina & a Sheba one & really good for hiding liquid medication in for cats. My own cat had to have 3 different liquid oral meds for 6 months ( to treat TB) & I don't think I would have been able to give them without soup. Couldn't hide it in Felix AGAIL.

So far, cimicat milk not helpful but a bit ominous given the "added minerals"

Nutrient composition

Protein - 33%
Fat - 22%
Ash - 6%
Vitamin A - 40,000 iu/kg
Vitamin D - 8,000 iu/kg
Vitamin E - 250mg/kg

Added minerals

Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Sodium, Iron, Copper, Manganese, Cobalt, Zinc, Iodine, Selenium.

Added vitamins

B1, B2, B6, B12, A, C, D, E, Nicotinamide, Calcium pantothenate, Folic acid, Orotic Acid, Choline Chloride, Biotin.

I had a renal patient recently that lived an extra few weeks drinking Royal Canin renal liquid diet (which is designed to be tube fed) when he didn't want anything solid. I agree that for healthy cats they are a bit of a gimmick!

At a CPD event I attended recently, Danielle Gunn Moore recommended these highly. I subsequently tried some with my own old codger, who lapped it up happily. I think they probably have a place for the oldies with appetite issues.

just googled it- made by purina, salt not listed, I agree Anthony Todd looks like a fab product for cats with urinary tract disease/renal disease where you want to encourage water intake

not uber expensive, 50-60p per portion

Good for cats with FUS. Keeps the water intake up, if it's low in Mg or oxalate, like Whiskas cat-milk!
