It was held in a beautiful old country church, simple but very serene and spiritual, and perched high on a hill, looking over the glorious rolling Carmarthenshire

RE: Wynne's funeral

Thank you.

RE: Wynne's funeral

Lovely post, Bob. There is no doubt about it, she touched many lives was loved by so many and will truly be greatly missed. One wonders in setting such high standards for herself whether that was an obstacle to her realising this?

RE: Wynne's funeral

It does not surprise me that the church was full!

Thank you so much for attending and representing me and others here.

Hardly a day goes by without me missing her posts.

There are some real characters on VetSurgeon but not one stands out quite like she did.

RE: Wynne's funeral

Thank you for that Bob. I was wondering what to write about my such unforgetable, Bristol Vet School 1975 classmate and her funeral, but you have described things so eloquently. I hadn't met you before, but it was good to talk to you. Suzi's eulogy couldn't have been better or more poignant I thought. Together with Sylvia and Dave's presence, that meant there were four of her year in attendance in her local church.

I have sent the following tribute to the South Wales Evening post having previously seen the announcement of her funeral there:-

We said goodbye to Wynne today. Such a charismatic individual, so dreadfully sad, such a terrible loss to her community and all of us. Every seat in the church was taken. A wonderful tribute from the Deacon was followed by a captivating eulogy from her colleague of 42 years and fellow Bristol Vet School graduate, Suzi McIntyre.

God bless you my friend and so-long.

Love from, Richard

RE: Wynne's funeral

[quote user="Dagmar Steele"]

Difficult and contradictory things, funerals. What a great loss, Wynne was clearly as much loved in the real world as she was in the virtual one.
