Who wants to go skiing when you can do your CPD in the glamorous surroundings of the Omagh AFBI path. lab (I only got home a couple of hours ago cos I stayed for the dinner this year) and that wee room in VSSCo? The spring and autumn conferences are good too. I considered SPVS when I was thinking about joining stuff but AVSPNI is definitely handier, good quality clinical CPD and they have a business management series of 3 days coming up if you're interested in that side. AVSPNI is really worth the money IMO; the only slight disadvantage is that you have to register in advance for the CPD now as it's so popular whereas you used to be able to just rock up.

RE: SPVS

I'm curious, are the previous posters who look like they wouldn't recommend SPVS, ex members or have never been members?
Dear Dr Richards,

I've been a member of SPVS for a very long time as you know, even before becoming a practice owner, perhaps even longer than you. Can I say what I think on this forum without creating a problem for my membership of SPVS?
Speak on sweet lips that never told a lie. I doubt your membership is in peril.
