We have a monthly clinical club and i am sure that counts as well.

RE: CPD

Which ones are you using?

RE: CPD

I really find them useful and they tend to be a bit shorter than some other types of CPD so actually think for me the " punch line " sticks with me better

RE: CPD
Hi everyone , Are podcasts okay for CPD ? And how do you record or prove them ?
Yes they would be fine.

Difficult to prove any cpd - even if you get a certificate to say you have attended something or other it doesn't prove that you were actually awake or learnt anything useful.

Unless a test or exam is done after each cpd session there is no way of proving that any benefit was gained.

(I emailed the RCVS to see if our practice meetings - where two vets talk through an interesting case they have seen, and present a bit about the condition - would count, and that was their response!)

I record all my CPD on the online PDR (search RCVS PDR). You can upload certificates etc to the website if they are given.
