The # (or Hashtag) makes a link on social media sites, so you can see who else is talking about the same thing. You could try #pedantry on FaceBook and see what happens, you might make a whole load of new friends! ;-)

Even if you don't feel selfie ready, please put it on your practice FaceBook page (or get a younger member of staff to), it is an important message and if the veterinary profession got behind it, we could make a real difference for our clients and their dogs.

You must see the puppy farmed puppies in Wales, surely?! Or maybe the bitches taken in by rescues, who often need extensive (and obviously expert!) dental worK!

You should not apologise. Pedantry is important.

But then, the campaign seems to be called "see them suckling" (I'm not sure why there are #signs scattered about) and of course it might mean "see the bitches suckling".....

Great idea. Apologies for pedantry but we were taught that puppies ( or piglets / kittens/ lambs etc ) suck , the mothers suckle. I realise Jo punter may not realise / understand / care but ....

Not denigrating the aim .

Not just because it's a good way to spread the word about puppy farming. But also a good marketing opportunity for the more social media savvy practices (post some photos of pouting veterinary surgeons / nurses at your practice, on your practice facebook page, and get clients to do the same).

I'll start you off with one taken just now. Posted on VetSurgeon and VetNurse facebook pages, and on my personal FB page. Not a great work of art, and I wish Daisy would stop putting her tongue in my mouth.
