From the inside, things are sometimes better appreciated, but it is always informative to see what the third man sees.
What's your point Francisco? Many people voted outside of your stereotypes.

[/quote]

That's exactly my point Michael. (Or one of)

My post is horrible. It pretty much stereotypes every single British person who voted 'Leave' with being older and not educated. I believe you're exactly the opposite (Well, except being female, of course).

It isn't pretty being in the receiving end of being stereotyped. It is widely reported that people who voted 'Leave' did so because EU immigration are coming to the UK for health tourism and benefit stealing. But when you ask, nobody knows exactly who's doing this, except by pointing to a Channel 4 (or is it Channel 5?) program.

RE: The Outsider's view - July'16

What a peculiar post.

This is what happens with the left though. When they don't get their way - even though they are RIGHT (and no other possible views are acceptable) - they can't fathom why anyone would disagree with them. There's a famous perceptual experiment where people are asked to say whether an badly drawn oval is a circle. A circle is nice and inclusive, and brings up memories of CND and the like. People of a leftist perspective always saw a circle even when it was more like a square. Right-leaning people described the shape as it was.

The underlying prejudice of the left is a moral one - how the world should be. It is a consequentialist thinking where the destination is all (that's why people like Mao, Marx, Lenin, Castro and even Stalin are canonised) and that it the one true path. What is amusing - and has been since the vote - is the apoplexy with which the metro bien pensant left have reacted. Deliciously missing the point whilst also exposing their hatred of their own people. Have a problem with immigration? Racist, xenophobic, horrible person. As a piece of wonderful irony: Caorbyn clings to power because of a democratic mandate. Most of the left want a democratic act re-running because it didn't provide the right result.

Again, Snr Gomez spectacularly misses the point. The people voted. You can bark and growl all you want, but it stands and will stand. C'est la vie.

RE: The Outsider's view - July'16

What's your point Francisco? You seem to be promoting an inclusive world where everyone gets on by trying to shoehorn people into pigeon-holes. Many people voted outside of your stereotypes. Be thankful we have a democracy.

Talk like this and we will have to have a 'rounding up' of you foreigners and send you back to where you came from .
