I am not turning into Wynne but it is a nonsense for anyone to be better off not working than working. They probably need a kick to get them going and pressure to keep them working!

True. The only things they seem to be any good at are overeating and breeding. They never have any money to pay you but can always afford booze, fags and tattoos.

More than that though it is because we have had a successful economy and jobs for people with the right qualifications. We also have an underclass who are uneducatable and unemployable. T'was always thus and will ever be. Wynne can come on and bang on about benefits but they existed long before benefits became universal - they just lived in poverty, begged and stole or were sent to the workhouse. I forgot - that was when Britain was Great.

To which I would reply 'why do we have a skills shortage?' The idea is that we have schools and colleges to train employable youngsters.

The reality is that many are cheap labour and it is easier to import someone than to train them!

Sounding more and more Brexit y despite being very pro-Europe!!

As it looks as if we are going to have to deal with exit, perhaps it is time to sort out our labour force. This may include moving labour from other parts of the UK as would have been the case a few years ago. There must be housing available or the eastern Europeans would not be able to work locally.

So when we've kicked them all out the Brits who haven't been coming in because they a) don't work so can't afford to pay vets fees, b) are tight wads who go to the cheap vets up the road, c) are already registered, are not going to suddenly all flock back.

Nearly 50% of new registrations being eastern European should suggest that something is not right in the country does it not?

My younger son (a Corbyn supporter) told me in no uncertain terms that the influx and surplus of vets should reduce the costs to the consumer and reduce the status of vets as an overpaid, bourgeois so called profession! I will not write my reply here!

He has dismissed all the concerns of the large number of 'disenfranchised' protest voters as irrelevant!

The arrogance of the middle class bourgeoisie! Spoilt brat!

He is considering leaving the UK. I will help him with a one way ticket!

Oh, I think the article was cr+p. There are plenty of more pressing issues to employees!

At least my pension fund has gone up with the the stock market. Time to retire perhaps?
