It really isn't about communication skills deteriorating, it is about trying to offer a good standard of care in an environment where the clients want the improvement in diagnostics and treatment that are now available

RE: Education isn't necessary

Paranoia and fear trumps all. Human nature is the same, the masses driven by tribalism and personal advancement, its just the circumstances by which these are measured and delivered have changed, aided by modern media and communication formats with more instant gratification.

Throughout history a few enlightened people have risen above the herd and striven to temper this and make life better for all of us. Equally there have been those who have taken advantage for personal power/gain by exploiting these human traits and either way it has usually ended in tears.

As all political and sociological roads lead to just one place at the moment, dare I say that the work of some of the enlightened ones has been undone in the last week and one layer of civilisation has been stripped bare.

'Twas ever thus and will always be. Those of us who have seen the light can only stand and stare in disbelief at those who seem to want to take us back to caves we crawled from.
