It may close the doors on new applicants though unless the countries retain reciprocity and there are still quite a few graduates from outside the EU who have completed courses that do have reciprocity. As for those without reciprocity, they may have to go the exam route in future.

Time to let your leaders know what you want to see as the standard for reciprocity. Lets get the dog wagging the tail!!

RE: Brexit and existing RCVS registrants

Thank you!;)

RE: Brexit and existing RCVS registrants

If you are naturalised as a British citizen then you are as British as everyone else and your passport cannot be removed under any but the most extreme circumstances. If you are planning terrorist acts then it may be at risk.

A passport cannot be taken away under any circumstances if it would leave the holder stateless.

There may be a bit of a rush for others to apply for naturalisation but at about a grand per person it may be an expensive luxury.

I would hope that internationally inspected vet school trained students will continue to be allowed to practice in the UK but this is one of thousands of EU/UK law issues that need to be clarified.

I would not be losing any sleep over it, ever!
