I also thank you for the invitation, but again too short notice to arrange swaps on rota as people have prior arrangements. It is a shame as I would have been interested, any chance of more notice next time?

It is a shame that you cannot attend the Conference, but thank you for your response!

As we all know well that David is a vet, a scientist and most importantly a champion for the cause of well-being amongst veterinary professionals - which is at the heart of BVU's agenda. We admire his continuing service to the profession and that is why we keenly look forward to seeing him as a key speaker at our Conference.

Although the Conference offers valuable CPD opportunity, the essential focus of the Conference is to provide a platform to discuss issues that affect veterinary professionals and co-workers. Bearing that in mind, this forum which is also a place for vibrant discussions on a range of subjects is the ideal place for the BVU Conference post. Yes, this also needs to be on the Events section as well. Thank you though for your comments.

Shams, strictly speaking, this should go in the CPD and Events section, from where you can invite people individually, and those who are attending can display their intent to go (so others can see who else is going).

You might want to add it to the events section as well.
