He now uses words like "placebos", "lie" and "deluded" with regard to homeopathy

RE: Interview with ex-homeopath

If you read the article Prof Ernst:

"He has received training in acupuncture, autogenic training, herbalism, homoeopathy, massage therapy and spinal manipulation. He learned homeopathy, acupuncture and other things whilst at a homeopathic hospital in Munich, when he began his medical career."

Presumably this involved him being a practitioner in the pseudoscience, apparently not convinced though!

Without doubt he is an anti-homoeopath but not too closed minded to rule out acupuncture, aromatherapy, hypnosis and some herbal treatments. Much of this may result in a degree of placebo effect but not all.

RE: Interview with ex-homeopath

Just to clarify, Professor Ernst studies complementary medicine and has not been a practitioner of it, so cannot be considered an ex-homeopath. (…) There is an alternative to conventional vaccination but it has not been efficacy-tested on laboratory animals. No proof of efficacy therefore exists.
Oh really?

Here's a quote from veterinary homeopath Chris Day's website about those who criticise homeopathy:

"Regarding critics of homeopathy: it is tempting to wonder why the ******* ******s don't get off their backsides and witness the results of homeopathic treatment... Perhaps vested interest and the lucrative returns of 'big pharma' are too attractive and too comfortable to allow such objectivity...

"For how long can these ***wits insult science by hiding behind that august word when they are patently being unscientific?.."
