[/quote]

I lived in Norfolk for about two years.

I found people to be very kind there, specially clients. Even my girlfriend thought people in the midlands were too serious and wouldn't go along with a joke when we came back.

Loads of things to do, and if you care to visit/live Norwich, you'd see that it is hardly somewhere to describe as a city. Instead, you'd think of it as a 'big town'. Most firms sell there, so you won't feel isolated from the big cities when you need to go and shop; but on the other hand, small traditional pubs still exists with home-cooked meals can still be enjoyed in both Norwich and the rest of the county.

We still go for holidays sometimes, as we made loads of friends in the short time we spent there, I think due to how open people are. A few of my 'poker' mates are still friends in facebook and we used to go to a tournament in Great Yarmouth every 3-4 months with people from both Norfolk and Suffolk.

https://youtu.be/JEd8qybvfz8

Loads of nice places to enjoy fish in the coast, like Cromer, Sea Palling, etc. or hiring a boat to enjoy a trip in the Broads.

This is my advert - you can indeed watch the sun set over the sea here as Snettisham beach is west facing - there is even a really good chip shop by the beach!

I've been chatting to Arlo recently and he kindly put the advert on the main page - we seem to get views on the advert but no real enquires. What does everyone here think? Would you move to Norfolk or is it too 'back of beyond'? Are vets with more than a year or two of experience settled in one area and not wanting to move?

Lots of people love to visit this area and many even have a great knowledge of it and favourite villages, pubs etc, but recruiting experienced staff is incredibly difficult - vets and RVN's.
