Agency free zone with postcode-specific search possibilities and just the mpost comprehensive selection of veterinary jobs - anywhere. Visit ... ... ...etc

That's why the "no agency" bit would appeal to employers, but not to employees. An employee generally wants a job, and don't really care by which path they get it. We've been lucky with the agency we use as they only seem to send us quality, and if someone isn't quite right they will always call us and discuss if we want to have a look at them or not.

We love it when people apply directly to us rather than via an agency, as it avoids paying the agency fees.

As for employees, I used to like agencies when locuming as I could tell them what I wanted and where, and they would let me know when something came up. It was easy. If I had somewhere I could check daily for the job I wanted, I would have definately been keen to use it.

That surprises me. I guess I felt that a potential employee would rather talk direct to the organ-grinder, rather than the monkey, so to speak. But you're not the first to say that!

Sorry, I'm being really thick here! Still don't quite understand. Are you talking about how the jobs section works?

It already allows you to search with just the first three letters of a postcode, or Newport Pagnell if you want.

Even Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch if you're feeling really masochistic!

I agree that "first to know" would be the thing for me. When I was locum img in the uk I knew where I wanted to work so for me being the first to apply would have given me an advantage.

The no agency bit would have no effect on an employee as the practice pays the agency fees in most cases. The no agency fees would be how I promote it to practices.

The location specific bit would be useful. At the end of the day different things appeal to different people so are you able to include some sort of call to action specific to a couple of different ads and a/b test them Somehow?

For me it would be the ease of use, not trawling journals or taking your chance with dodgy agencies which sadly in my experience are like old fashioned dating agencies - they just seem to chuck names in a hat and pull them out without attempting to match up employees with employers. I would assume every source would have a decent range so emphasising that would just sound like spin to me. So I would go with something like this:

Just click and find the right job for you. No more scanning columns of jobs. No more taking your chances with agencies.

Widest selection - I would prefer to browse through everything available and then decide if the location etc was right for me. Others might be searching differently though, and be more keen on narrowing down to a particular location.
