Altro floors have in my experienced requested that practices clean such non-slip floors with alkaine floor cleaners, for instance pH8 or higher with surface active agents, although users shoudl be careful not to use a product that has too high a pH in consideration of health and safety or occupational health concerns. Products such as ANIGENE HLD4 operate in this pH range.

We use a Rotowash machine and the nurses clean floors after afternoon appointments but it doesn't get into the corners and edges so that needs a bit of elbow grease - a job for quiet days.

We use a clean and buff cleaner which is supposed to be finished with a polishing machine but the staff hate that and rarely use it. We used to also have the floors sealed a couple of times a year but the guy who did it during the night/weekend has retired and I've not found anyone else to do it a sensible price. Nonetheless it looks pretty clean most of the time. The floors will be clean in proportion to the time and effort put into cleaning them!

RE: floors

Have you tried steam cleaning?
