Pretty proud to attend my younger son's graduation in Maastricht recently. Pretty chuffed also that his student debt is €190's for a bike he bought!!!

Elder son making shed loads of money making the new Assassin's Creed film. He is not too chuffed because he is stuck in London while they are filming in Malta. Luckiest kid in the world - he absolutely loves his job!!!

Time flies at an alarming rate!

Yeah, well back in the day when Sydney Vet School was No 1 and Qld was somewhere up north we had our interviews in Wellington NZ for bursaries.

Ian Wells and Tony Todd were accepted, then all were allocated to SYD or QLD.

Dead silence for QLD, so "As we started the interviews at "A" let's start the allocation for QLD at Z"......

Turned out OK though.

[/quote]Not congratulations for me but for Emily unless it is for having such a wonderful daughter for which Mrs A must also take some credit! Emily did actually thank me for the surname otherwise TBH she would have rather vanished into the collective success and wonderfulness of all the others, but regardless, everyone has to start somewhere. You play what cards you're given in life, if having an alphabetially advantageous surname is one then use it. It was always useful for me at college being first in oral and practical exams, I could get it all over with and go to the pub/watch the others sweat erm...go and do more revision.

But an even greater source of pride is the fact that Emily takes every opportunity to tell everyone that I'm her hero, that I've taught her everything she knows and she is proud of me me even when I was doing embarrassing dad dancing stripped to the waist on a table in the Moosevirt Bar in St Anton this year! There is (allegedly) video evidence of this but I'm not telling you where!

You be proud Martin , my Dad could manoeuvre the fact that I was a vet into any topic of conversation and his support and pride in me carried me through many a difficult time in my life. Congratulations
