At least its in a differnt part of the garden tonight no directly outside the consulting room door but its still annoying. The other thing I don't understand is why the other neighbours who must be annoyed by it just as much don't complain because it goes on all weekend and all night, I'm just glad I don't live here. Either they don't like to cause a fuss or they know its a waste of time as well.

Its just as well I don't live here because i would have killed the dog and assaulted the owner by now!

Its previously been reported to the RSPCA, the local council and our MP (who for the record is John McDonnell) but they won't do anything about it. I think they're scared of being accused of racial prejudice because when I went round with some suggestions as to how they may deal with the issue, starting by taking the dog indoors, I was showered with abuse and an accusation I was racist because they're Muslim and they can't have the dog indoors. This is not confined to fireworks it is barking on and off every day. They never take the dog for a walk or interact with it, its just left in the back garden confined to a tiny area. Questions as to why they have a dog in the first place are pointless. Oh and it looks like a Pit Bull!

How many dog owners make a real effort to make sure their dogs are not frightened by loud bangs?

We have 2 dogs that go out on the shooting field (the Patterdale is no use) - they are not bothered. We made a specific effort to introduce her to the bangs and noises.

They would have enjoyed the fireworks. The first year we had the Patterdale she sat on the wall in the garden watching the neighbours fireworks.

I've spent an enjoyable evening at the local bonfire - I'm involved in the organisation as part of the local Round Table. Everyone had a good night. Don't think we've had a single ACP request this year....
