Your right, but for the appropriate fee there is always some professional witness who will write a report to muddy the waters just enough.

Makes a change from the jealous recently dumped X-wife presenting "his" dog for euthanasia, Glen Close may have coined the phrase "bunny boiler" but they have always been out there.

It was a tough one. Common sense confirms that the fish suffered. But how do you quantify it??? Shouldn't need an expert really but...???

Good question. Probably the best way to find out would be to get the offender to swallow bleach, then have it poured into her eyes and lungs - that would be roughly equivalent to what she did to the fish.

Then she could be asked if she felt she had been caused suffering.

You've reminded me of a case yesterday. An RSPCA inspector rang me to ask if fish would have suffered if killed by bleach being poured into their tank. Apparently the wife did it after an argument with the husband. There are some very warped people out there.
