They could follow on their computer screen where the cat was or had been. The cat was totally not bothered by it but did look a bit like an alien, even more so since it was also wearing light reflecting strips of about 5 inches length, trailing from its collar left and right. &amp;nbsp;The owners said they just wanted to make sure they knew where he was......&lt;/p&gt;

They are too big and to battery hungry. You can get a version that goes on a collar, fairly unobtrusively. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anecdote alert: my sister used to work for Animalcare and would take a shift on the OOH &amp;#39;Locate&amp;#39; phone. Once a week or more someone would ring up and ask where their dog was, and assumed the microchip was some kind of tracking device. There is clearly a lot of misunderstood clients out there.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
