&lt;li&gt;shelf life of the kits. I would think it would be fairly infrequent thatyou&amp;#39;re not sure which dog has been exposed so test may go out of date&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Cost. Would it be cheaoer than running PT/PTT clotting times, and will it replace the need to do these?&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Necessity. To me, I can think of very few occasions where this test would make a diagnosis/treatment plan easier.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;As you mentioned, sensitivity and specificity&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;
